In order for me to keep motivated and keep myself taking photos often, I’ve decided to give myself a weekly challenge. I would do the 365 project, but I think it’ll be too daunting for me and I know I’ll find excuses to give up.
I found this pretty cool website called Photo Friday, where each Friday they post a ‘theme’ and you submit your blog post with the photo you took. It’s pretty awesome because it provides a forum and community where you can critique and discuss other people’s photos. It also gives me some good exposure. I love flickr but it’s partially blocked in China so it’s not all that reliable for me.
